Saint Mary's College Music Students Gain Hands-On Experience at The Air Born Academy!

For the second year in a row, the gifted students of Saint Mary's College have had the exceptional opportunity to visit our state-of-the-art recording facility. This visit is part of their annual school-based assessment for their CXC exams, allowing them to observe one of the ABA’s most distinguished sessions.

Guided by industry expert Cory Carson, the sessions were meticulously recorded and mixed, giving students an invaluable, hands-on experience with cutting-edge music production techniques. This real-world exposure is designed to enhance their understanding and skills in the field.

This year, the focus was on the soulful music of Gregory Porter, captured during a session for Jazz Night in America. This program is nationally syndicated and produced by NPR, WBGO, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, providing the students with a rich and authentic learning experience.
